Scanzi is not only our family name, but it is also our company’s brand which, for at least a century, has been devoted to a typical product of our territory: the art of hosiery.
The headquarters of our hosiery factory in Borgo San Giacomo preserve a copy of the company’s first official regulation, dated 1926. It was even earlier, in 1888, that “aunt” Ester Scanzi founded the hosiery production business, in which four generations have then followed in direct line.
Offices and the production plant have remained in their original location, which allows us a privileged view of the surrounding lowland landscape.

TERRITORY
Our territory, located within the great Po Valley, has been the setting of our business since the beginning of our history, as well as a harbinger of enchanting surprises.

Our work at the hosiery factory consists of technique and knowledge, as well as empathy.
We follow our customers at every stage of the product development: even the simplest idea requires the necessary research to find the most suitable yarns for each specific sock, the study of packaging and then the creation of a complete collection, with a 360°-support from a stylistic and manufacturing point of view.
Thanks to our expertise in the fashion industry, we can work with all kinds of materials and yarns to create what customers may initially only dream of.

PRODUCTION
We have specialised in the production of men and women’s hosiery in natural fibres and yarns and have been offering Made in Italy collections since 1926.
The processing cycle is completely in-house: from the arrival of the yarn in the warehouse to the finished and packaged product, ready to be shipped.
Our staff in the hosiery factory carry out scrupulous checks at every stage of production: from the knitting of the product, the stitching, and the treatments to the finishes necessary to enhance the qualities of each individual yarn, the ironing and eventually the packaging.

The high-quality standards we adhere to, the complete in-house cycle of sock production, the selection of the best raw materials, and the particular attention to environmental sustainability issues make us proud to offer products that represent the values of “Made in Italy”.
This has enabled us to collaborate with the largest European and international groups that possess and demand the highest standards in terms of production quality and with whom we share a code of ethics guaranteeing full respect for human, environmental and ethical rights.
